The aim of the present study was to determine the effect of training about the intraoperative care documentation forms on the operating room personnel’ function in the context of the documentation. Methods: A quasi-experimental study was carried out on 97 technologists and nurses in the operating rooms of two hospitals, Isfahan, in 2017. Personnel was selected through convenient, then divided into equal experimental and control groups. A 1.5 hour training session through lecture about standards of operating room documentation and how to complete the five intraoperative care documentation forms was formed. Training was continued by social media during two months. Five Documentation Forms were used for 2 months and the documentation score of the research samples was expressed as percentage. In the control group, no training was performed and the score was obtained using a self-report questionnaire. Results: In this research, about the experimental group 90/8% were women. 89/2% were surgical technologists and the rest were nurses.In the experimental group, the mean total score of the intraoperative care documentation forms was 93.19±5.18 out of 100, but in the control group, the mean total score of documentation was 42.89±34.07 out of 100. The mean total score of the intraoperative care documentation forms in the experimental group was significantly higher than control group (P<0.001). Conclusions: Training standards of operating room documentation and the use of appropriately-structured forms can increase the operating room personnel’ function in the context of the documentation.

Iran 1 1 2019 7 5 9 14 15 08 2018 Introduction: Due to the complexity of the clinical education process in the subject of spinal fusion surgery, many students are not able to acquire the necessary skills in this field. This emphasizes the need for new and structured approaches to clinical education. In the last two decades, the use of simulators in the training of complex clinical skills has been considered increasingly. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of education on spinal fusion surgery simulation on operating room students' knowledge and clinical skills. (P<0.001) Methods and Materials: This quasi-experimental study (before & after intervention) was conducted during which 30 students of the operating room of Term 8 were selected and trained by simulation method. Before and after training, their basic knowledge and practical skills were assessed and compared using the four-choice written test and the View checklist. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon test and Mann Whitney test in SPSS version 22. Results: Simulation based education was effective on the basic knowledge and especially the practical skills of the operating room students. There was a significant difference between the mean scores of knowledge and practical skills of students before and after the training. (P<0.001) Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, the use of simulation training is an effective way of teaching and evaluating the amount of knowledge and skills necessary for the Spinal Fusion surgery for students of the operating room technologist. Acupressure maybe reduces anxiety. Therefore, this study aimed to determine acupressure on anxiety and hemodynamic indices in female patients admitted to cardiac care units.                               Method: This RCT study (with code IRCT201703287529N13) 90 woman hospitalized to CCUs of Shahid Rajaee Hospital Alborz University of Medical Sciences in 2017. there are divided into two acupressure and control groups. While the intervention group received acupressure for 20 minutes and placebo group received pressure only on the thumb. To complete Spielberger’s questionnaire and hemodynamic parameters checklist before, immediately after the intervention and 30 minutes after the intervention. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics and analyzed using SPSS- v 24.                                                             Results: Before intervention, anxiety was not significantly different between the groups before the intervention (p>0.05). ANOVA test showed that the anxiety statistically significant different between the two groups (p <0.05) but there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in the hemodynamic parameters. The purpose of this study is to identify factors related to the wishes of clients from outpatient nurses. Methods: The present research is a descriptive study that Intermediate questionnaires have been used to collect information. The statistical population of the study was nurses of the outpatient department of public hospitals in Shiraz. The study began in October, 2017 which the data were collected using a simple random sampling method from 145 outpatient nurses in public hospitals. Also, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient and finally multiple hierarchical regressions were used by SPSS / PC software version 20 for data analysis. Results: Based on the research results, Conscientiousness (p <0.001, β = 0.43), emotional intelligence from individual factors (p = 0.028, β = 0.33) and internal marketing from environmental factors (p = 0.001, β =0.33) were identified as factors associated with the client-oriented. Method: In this clinical trial, control group with 60 nurses involved in trauma, neurological and brain surgery, internal lung and thoracic surgery at Imam Reza Hospital in Tabriz during the morning shift in 1397, preventive methods for pneumonia The ventilator was trained to nurses and the nurses' performance was compared with a ventilator- associated  pneumonia prevention checklist one month before and one month after the intervention, using t-test. Results: Clinical audit process can not affect the overall performance of nurses for prevention of ventilator-associated  pneumonia or any of the effective factors in preventing this infection. The aim of current study was to investigate the Effectiveness of Mindfulness Training on reducing work-family conflict of married nurses. Methods: Research method was quasi experimental with pretest-posttest design with control group. The statistical population of this study included married nurses of Treata Hospital in Tehran city in 2016. 22 nurses were selected by available sampling method and randomly were assigned in two groups of experimental and control (11 people for each group). Experimental group participated in 8 sessions of 90-minute mindfulness group training and control group received no intervention. To collect data, Rastegar Khaled work-family conflict scale was used. Data were analyzed by univariate analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). Results: Results indicated that there is significant differences in post-test mean scores of experimental and control groups and mindfulness training could significantly reduce the “work and family conflict" of married nurses (p<0/001). Conclusion: Based on research findings it is recommended by mindfulness skills training for nurses, the work - family conflict be reduced.   972 Special The Role of Emotional and Cognitive Empathy in Predicting Job and Burnout Satisfaction of Nurses Kharidar Sodabeh Zeinali Ali Islamic Azad University, Urmia Branch Islamic Azad University, Urmia Branch 1 1 2019 7 5 45 51 05 11 2018 Introduction: Nursing is a stressful job and their health plays an important role in maintaining and improving the health of patients. Therefore, present research aimed to investigation the role of emotional and cognitive empathy in predicting job and burnout satisfaction of nurses. Methods: Present research was a cross-sectional from type of correlation. Research population was nurses of governmental hospital of Urmia city at 2018 year which from them 285 people was selected by stratified random sampling method. Research tools were the questionnaires of emotional and cognitive empathy (Reniers & et al, 2011), job satisfaction (Smith & et al, 1969) and job burnout (Maslach & Jackson, 1993). Data analyzed with using of SPSS-19 software and with Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression with enter model methods Results: The findings showed that emotional and cognitive empathy have a positive and significant relationship with nurses’ job satisfaction and a negative and significant relationship with nurses’ job burnout. Also, emotional and cognitive empathy were able to predict 38/4 percent of the variance of nurses’ job satisfaction and 51/1 percent of the variance of nurses’ job burnout (p<0/05). Conclusions: The results indicate the effective role of emotional and cognitive empathy in predicting job and burnout satisfaction of nurses. Therefore, in order to increase job satisfaction and decrease job burnout of nurses can improve their emotional and cognitive empathy through workshops. 936 General The Effect of integration of Mentorshiping and Peer Education methods on the academic Performance and academic Satisfaction in Nursing PhD Students Sheikhi Mohammadreza Fallahi-Khoshknab Masoud Rahgozar Mehdi Qazvin university of medical sciences, Univessity of social welfare and rehabilitation sciences, Tehran, Iran Univessity of social welfare and rehabilitation sciences, Tehran, Iran 1 1 2019 7 5 52 58 03 08 2018 Introduction: Learning from peers is an effective educational intervention for doctoral nursing students in the educational settings. This study aimd to examine the effect of mentor and peer education on the Academic performance ( education and research performance) and academic satisfaction in doctoral nursing students. Methods: This quasi-experimental study was conducted on 10 doctoral nursing students who started their degree 2010-2014 at the University of Welfare and Rehabilitation sciences. The sample was divided into two groups of intervention and control based on the inclusion criteria of the study. Five students in doctoral nursing were selected for intervention and control groups. In the intervention group, all students attended a peer education session every week for one year. After completing the course of peer education with a mentor, data were collected through questionnaires of educational performance appraisal and academic satisfaction. Then the data were analyzed using t-test and the SPSS, 22 versions. Results: The results of this study showed that the mean score of academic satisfaction and research performance in the intervention group was significantly different from the control group. Doctoral nursing students had a greater research performance and academic satisfaction compared to the control group. But mean score of educational performance in both groups was not significant. Conclusion: According to the findings of this study, attention to the integration methods of education is inevitable in order to increase satisfaction and academic performance in doctoral nursing students. Peer group education and mentor can increase scientific and research abilities and lead to developing academic performance and satisfaction in doctoral nursing students.
