The Effect of Education Nursing Process according to Conceot map on Learning of Nursing Process

Introduction: One of the most effective teaching methods in nursing is the use of concept maps. This study aims to determine the effect of the nursing process education according to the concept maps on learning of nursing process.
Method: This is a quasi-experimental study. Thirty-one nurse critical wards participated. Sampling was performed according to randomly method and nurses were divided in two groups, control (16 nurses) and experimental groups (15 nurses).
The researcher evaluates the nurse’s abilities in writing nursing process before and after the intervention in the control and experimental groups by self-administered questionnaire. Descriptive and inferential analysis approaches have been applied. The descriptive approach includes (frequency, mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics include (t-test).
Results: there was significant difference between the experimental and control groups in data assess of abnormal objective and subjective information, (p <0001), Nursing diagnosis (p <0.03) and total score (p <0.01)
Conclusions: The results have shown the concept map strategy instruction is useful in active learning and also can be implemented in the nursing process. Therefore, this technique may have a profound effect upon the process of learning in learners.
